This version doesn't detect the Lucent WinModem. Tried 4 different modems and no luck what so ever. Version 431 works fine on all 4 so was wondering why the major change? Am guessing to keep the ISO file smaller, by taking out the modem detection.

Most winmodem modules don't compile on later kernels, of which Slacko has.
Use Wary puppy if you need winmodem support, Barry has just released Wary-5.3
