My favorite part is the speed. I had to laugh yesterday when I put the cd in my overclocked monster and ren Puppy from 1 gig of duall channel ddr ram. I think that the programs opened faster than the monitor could display them
Puppy Linux...
It just works!

Man I have been busting my hump this week to get a couple more programs to

Mozilla of course "blah" to firefox users
payday.tk http://www.curtisonline.net/software/ neat little thing check'er out
openoffice www.openoffice.org get 1.1.4 auto installs!!!!
ghostview we all have, alot better than acro I think
giftui
midnight commander
aumix
http://www.goosee.com/puppy/wikka/DotPupsContributions
edonkey2000 www.edonkey.com
yahoo messenger http://messenger.yahoo.com/
leafpad we all have, although I would like to get the stick notes!!!
gxine with essential codecs package http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/design7/dload.html
rxvt
rox
and I will be trying to get the sticky notes working somehow maybe if you all know how to write tcl/tk we could have pupnotes???
and I will be bugging people on the forum to make some emulators cause I tried but to no luck
now if anybody know how to setup realplayer correctly I can drag that to my desktop instead of going through files all the time
If any of you have some good games on puppy give us some details

mandibule2005, your friend Musher0 told us to taste your Puppies, that is done. Launched this morning. Yeah ! looks fine
Puppy derivatives : mistfire puplet Slim.
You should make your Puppy appear in Puppy derivatives section. I could be a great success !

Hi, I have just joined this forum, so I could say 'hi' and 'thanks' for Puppy!

I have used it, with no problems, on my old machines to keep them running, and I have used it to rescue a friend's files when Windows died on him.

I have used Slacko and Precise and can't decide which I prefer - they both work fine.

I am quite IT-literate and have been able to boot Puppy from scratch, set it up myself etc, and have read this forum to resolve a couple of minor things.

I love the informal way Puppy is developed - long may it continue.

Best wishes,
