Joe, I can read it but.. with this term ya can't c/p.

Best bet's to pass the output to file, like so:
Code:
fdisk -l > fdisk.txt

This dumps standard output to file, namely the one in /root >> fdisk.txt.

From here you can easily c/p to the forum.

Hint: wrap this <code>output</code> in << code when posting to the forum.

In the above swap <these> with [these].

I kinda think I'd toss that old swap file with a larger one- say maybe 320mbs..

sorry ive not been back for a couple of days, ive spent the time franticaly trying to get wery to work at any sort of speed or at all and after many hours of conserted effort ive given up and install v2.1.6 instead

this is a revolation and is the fastest computer ive ever used or rather it is now, it was just alright at first, rembering i cant partition the hard drive with out a live cd ( easily or at all ?)
ive installed a walet hd through the usb, and put 4 x 125 mb of swap space on it, some book ive borrowed says linux will suport 16 such ?. though the accepted wisdom on here is you can only match your existing ram ? but anyway its done the trick, its little short of fantasic speed wise, but lite on features. i ran the above with wery and it made hardly any differance, making me suspect it was the processessor etc giving up ?

as i can now get from, ISO to having it running in 20m, im going to try a v3 now to see how that is, im also going to see if you can pull the same trick with a pendrive, as not every one will have a walet sitting about and let you know

just to recap,, ive installed v1 to get a launch from windows boot loader, a wery, which gave me the partition soft ware to set the wallet hd up to get a fab working v2 so its been a long journey
i now need to know what packages are available to do what over and above what came with the iso and particulary how to install tor/tails

shall i start a new thread for this or leave it all in one place ?
