Hi I always use puppy to start a newly aquired pc. But this one with an ms-7349 mainboard k9ngm3 series with 2gb ram I can hear puppy barking but no readable picture. I am using the newest 528 puppy

Have you tried over-riding the standard boot by typing:
This should then start Puppy without the graphical environment. Then type:

Hi Thank You for reply. I tried puppy pfix=nox and puppy pfix=nox,ram but they do not work. I get first a graphic to choose keyboard but when I try the command xorgwizard I get a message that something is not found. If I then try startx my screen go bananas

I tried slacko with nearly same result. Then I tried puppyracy and it works ok on this machine. OW
