Puppy booting but no screen..

Hi

I always use puppy to start a newly aquired pc. But this one with an ms-7349 mainboard k9ngm3 series with 2gb ram I can hear puppy
barking but no readable picture. I am using the newest 528 puppy Shocked

Have you tried over-riding the standard boot by typing:
Code:
puppy pfix=nox

This should then start Puppy without the graphical environment.
Then type:
Code:
xorgwizard

and you should be able to find some display settings that work for your setup.

Hi

Thank You for reply. I tried puppy pfix=nox and puppy pfix=nox,ram but they do not work. I get first a graphic to choose keyboard but when I try the command xorgwizard I get a message that something is not found. If
I then try startx my screen go bananas Rolling Eyes

I tried slacko with nearly same result. Then I tried puppyracy and it works ok on this machine.
