 Transmit audio output
Subject description: Audio output from stereo system to computer |

If I connect an audio source (audio video decoder) to the line input of my computer, I can hear the audio on the computer. I am looking for a way to transmit this audio output from the computer (directly connected to the video decoder) to my home wireless network, so I may listen to the audio on any other computer on my network.
Is there a software or a pet I may use for that purpose ?
Any suggestion will be welcome.

VLC = Video Lan Client
It should be in all the reps for all builds of Puppy.

Thanks. I finally found it in Slacko's package manager -- under Multimedia, not Network as I would have expected.

What version of VLC is recommended to install with puppy slacko 5.3.1 ?
I tried 1.1.11, 1.1.12, 2.0.0 without success: allways a module or lib missing.
Also, how may I capture audio output for streeaming with VLC ?
