hi guys ...
it looks like all kind of problem of puppy linux are hitting me hard and i dont seem to find a way except questioning ..

i am getting the black screen in conky what can be the problem ?
when i use xfce as WM then conky is running fine ..
so any help will be appreciated

You need to explain in more detail.
What version of Puppy?
Frugal or full install?
You do what? You see what?

So just use xfce as WM.

Copy and paste your conky setup would be helpful as well. Very Happy

i am on lucid puppy 5.2.8
openbox as WM ...
i've downloaded conky pets from here http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=72815
i goto destkop -> conky wm swithcer i see conky but i see a black screen behind it ..

ok it works but...black box behind it - right?

Sounds like an setting in the .conkyrc
or rox pin-board?
play with the settings within .conkyrc - you must stop/restart conky to see any changes.

but.....

try rox -p= in the console.
