#1 Post by rmcellig »

Is there a pet for the newly released Audacity 2.0?

not to my knowledge, the previous version 1.3.14 is available for slacko

Later in the week i'll be working on compiling Qtracker, I could give Audacity a shot.

Do you use Jack?

No. I just use Audacity as is. I'm not sure how to setup Jack and whether it is a long drawn out procedure.

i'm taking care of it...
i've been able to find all the required libs and i'm joining all them in one single huge pet...
this may take one more day...
i've taken it from ubuntu repositories and 2 libs i've taken from debian snapshot server...
i'm creating it for puppy 4.3.1 (my puppy version)...
i hope it works on other versions...

https://hotfile.com/dl/155658054/d5969e ... ar.gz.html

here it is the link to download the file...
it's a tar.gz file with 2 pets...
one is the audacity with (hopefully) all the libs and the other one is a critical lib that can be needed or not...
run audacity from terminal and tell me the output...
if you see an error message saying that GLIBXX_3.4.15 whas not found, or GLIBC_2.15 was not found, install the second pet...
it's just to avoid deleting critical files when uninstalling audacity.
