apt-get equivalent possible in lupu?

I was wondering whether it is possible to do something like
apt-get install great_lucid_package in Lupu?

Check out the puppy package manager. It's not the same but it will get dependencies etc for you. It's pretty decent

Could you be a bit more explicit, how do I start that? I found quickpet on the desktop but I suppose that's not what you meant?
