Thank you for your help.....I have no problem setting up the network..
Its just everytime i reboot i have to go thru setup again to config my card .....its a old laptop with a cardbus notebook adapter card.
Im using Wary Puppy 5.3 ..good little pup :D Is there a way to save the config for it to autoconnect once it is setup?

:D Hello,
I hate to ask, but did you click the "save" button when you set up the profile??
In a terminal:
cat /etc/network-wizard/wireless/profiles/*
will tell you what has been saved thus far...
Close the Windows, and open your eyes, to a whole new world
