puppy arcade v5
hey guys
i'm here requesting for puppy arcade v5 pet...
the pet is "lost" (the link is no more available) and i need it...
i didn't liked the puppy arcade v8 sfs cause of some "problems" that it caused on my system...
(i've mounted the sfs file and copied all files from it and pasted on /... not as good idea as i thought...)
i've then made another huge mistake:
configurated rejoystick "just to try it", and when puppy linux boots with a joystick connected, all menus go crazy!!!
it starts sending the downkey code and all menus are impossible to navigate (it can be solved by pressing upkey...
i've screwed lots of emulator...
the romloader is annoying,...
if someone have that pet, please, post here a download link...

What about the Puppy Arcade 8 .pet?
puppyarcade8.pet
(from sc0ttman's server)
If all else fails, I do have a copy of the Arcade 5 .pet (~27MB) and can upload it to DataFileHost.
(Edit: Come to think of it, I'd much rather upload it to a private server, in that case... )

puppy arcade 8 f*cked up everything...
the gameboy emulator ALWAYS runs in fullscreen, even when i choose not to...
opera has the "default" scrollbars and buttons, but after using puppy arcade 8 sfs (i couldn't use the pet, not sure why), it uses the scrollbars like windows 95, 98 and that...
everytime i turn on my computer with a joystick on it, it's always sending the "downkey" (like if i was clicking on the down key) code...
it messed up with all my libs!!!
i have the same emulator installed twice!!!
if you could, it would be awesome if you did it...
i need to cleanup my savefile...

Sorry about the delayed response - I've been trying to PM sc0ttman, about possibly posting the .pet on his server (even better, if he still has it, somewhere), but haven't heard from him, yet. :I

thank you for your help...
i've managed to create a not-so-perfect pet...
today my puppy went crazy!!!
was insisting it had no free space even with 330mb + something like 200mb of released space and still was insisting it had no space...
i ignored it and now i was forced to create the pet from the files that are described in the package entry (/root/.packages/PuppyArcade-v5.files) and put them exactly on the same place...
i am having lots of trouble with the .desktop files...
some have been replaced from version 8...
if you want, i can post in here the link...
this time, i'll create a backup save file to do not screw everything...
even when already screwed...
the most important is that opera 11.64 is compatible with the definitions from opera 11.60...
and copied some important definitions (mouse theme, icon theme, system icons, other program definitions, etc.)...
the only definitions that don't work are the jwm...
it simply ignores them!!!!!
but that is a different problem with a quick and hard-to-find solution...
