I tried to install PCMANFM from the salix-repo but it didn't work well, so I remove it. But the menu-entry for pcmanfm still appears, so I want to remove it manually. Maybe I'm blind bit I didn't find an utility (like PMENU in older puppys) to edit the JWM-menu, so I have to do it manually.
WHERE are the currently-in-use JWM-Menus located? (remark: I have a german desktop)

Thanks in advance for any hint.

Smile Michael

If you navigate to: /usr/share/applications
you should find the .desktop file responsible for the menu-entry.

I just downloaded the pcmanfm-1.2.3-i486-1gv.txz package from the salix repo,
and opened it up to look at it's contents.

It appears that it will install all of these .desktop files: Shocked
    pcmanfm-mod.desktop
    pcmanfm-mod-find.desktop
    pcmanfm-mod-folder-handler.desktop
    pcmanfm-user-f4.desktop
    pcmanfm-user-f6.desktop
    pcmanfm-user-f7.desktop
    pcmanfm-user-f8.desktop
    pcmanfm-user-f9.desktop

Simply delete those files,
then open a console and run the following command:
Code:
fixmenus

Finally, restart JWM (via the Shutdown menu)
and the menu entry for pcmanfm should be gone.

Hope this helps
CatDude
