better switch to ubuntu for ardour/audacity etc.?

Puppy related raves and general interest that doesn't fit anywhere else

as far as I know you can modify and distribute studio 3.3 as much as you want, not sure what the license is on the 'non-puppy' versions of studio 3.3++ ?
