What distinguishes this from glipper-lite or parcellite (other than being massive because of the static QT)?

only ONE DIFFERENCE
this app has STICKY CLIPBOARDS (you can insert in these several STICKY entries) text, passwords, notes, that you want ever ready to use (and no overwritten by other clipboard content)
the DEFAULT STICKY ENTRIES are 16
I agree that this app is a little bloated, but anyone can move outside from pup_save, symlinking the executable in /usr/bin or /usr/localbin
I recommend glipper and parcelite for use IN puppy, but moving qlipper executable outside pup_save is not too bad to have alternatives

Ah, good. I've been thinking of trying to add them to glipper-lite, but I'm not sure I'm up to it. I wasn't sure that parcellite didn't have them, though...

Of course 4MB is small for a static qt app. It is massive for a clipboard manager package - something like 300 times the size of a (dynamic and upxed) glipper or parcellite.

Hmmm. The sticky feature isn't quite what I'd like (the entries are in a submenu, and you need to enter them manually. I'd like to have them in the main menu, with a "pin icon").
But I see there is another big difference. It supports restoring images from the clipboard history! (Unfortunately it only works with images, not with any binary clipboard information e.g. if the clipboard had both an image and text then it only restores the text).

And I see that the static qlipper is also upxed, so that is a fair comparison, although it would probably be a lot more dramatic if we compared them un-upxed.

I found another QT clipboard manager which does support restoring other binary clipboard information e.g. both an image and text.
CopyQ
Its gui seems rather complicated/clumsy though.
