which puppy would work well on my machine?

Hi all i was wondering if anybody has any advice on which puppy linux would work well on my machine? i have a Acer Travelmate 250 it has a pentium 4 and 512ram. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

I would try puppy 5.2.8. Rock solid. Also, Wary 5.3. What do you plan to do with the machine? Web surfing? Multimedia? Video/photo editing? How will you connect to the internet, wireless or wired? |

For your computer and someone new to Puppy. Lucid Puppy 528.005 would be a good start to try. It has a lot of help options. However, in general there are a lot of Puppy versions that will probably work. Each version of Puppy has different features. So, trying some out until you find one you like best, is part of Puppy.
