Hi all i was wondering if anybody has any advice on which puppy linux would work well on my machine? i have a Acer Travelmate 250 it has a pentium 4 and 512ram.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would try puppy 5.2.8. Rock solid. Also, Wary 5.3.

What do you plan to do with the machine? Web surfing? Multimedia? Video/photo editing? How will you connect to the internet, wireless or wired?

For your computer and someone new to Puppy.
Lucid Puppy 528.005 would be a good start to try.
It has a lot of help options.

However, in general there are a lot of Puppy versions that will probably work. Each version of Puppy has different features. So, trying some out until you find one you like best, is part of Puppy.
Many available in this forum in the derivatives section.
