How to install Mesa package? I have a compatible Intel Card |
|
My intel card works well, but I want to get the mesa package (So I can get more out of my gfx card). So I tried installing the package and what happens is:
-the package doesn't download fully
-the package downloads, but it won't install
What am I doing wrong?

Can you tell us the URL of the web page where you found the Mesa package, or is that Top Secret?

Hi,
If it's the latest version of Slacko 5.3.3.1 then Mesa is already pre-installed. Type glxgears in the console to test.
It's an alpha version and Slickpet has yet to be updated.
My regards

No, I am not using 5.3.3.1 (at least not until the beta or stable comes out).

In the slickpet menu bar you can change preferences, change the default url from ibiblio to nluug or something else and try again. Sometimes ibiblio can get jammed, it deals with a lot of traffic.
