I installed Legacy OS (former TeenPup) with one PCMCIA wireless card, and I would like to try using a different wireless card.

I tried switching the cards, but the network was not discovered with the new card.

The system is using the orinoco driver.

The original card is a D-Link AirPlus DWL-G650, and the replacement is an AmbiCom WL-1100.

Lucid Puppy 5.2.8 also has this option:
Frisbee network manager. There is a menu entry Internet -> Frisbee Network Manager Install to install an alternate network manager to the puppy default. This gives twice as many chances to get connected. There is also an entry in Puppy Package Manager. Here is information ->
