Crowdsourced project use Linux to rescue MsWin from virus

#1 Post by nooby »

Using the cloud they hope to keep up with the bad guys
You install their Linux OS on USB and use it to rescue
your MsWin computer or if you only use Linux at home
you can maybe recommend this solution to friends and
work mates and neighbors :)

Jumpshot is a fully automated solution for solving PC frustration. Launch our app and enjoy an elegant interface and secure web surfing while we work our magic in the background.

Jumpshot is remarkable in three major ways:

A strong focus on user experience. Effortless to use, conversational feedback and a social game based on earning Karma.
Much like a surgeon, we sedate your PC before beginning our work. This allows our software to run without interference from viruses.
Crowd driven. Jumpshot gets smarter every time someone uses it.
Is this a smart commercial viral marketing ploy or a good thing?

Too much text for my brain to sort out. Do take a look and give your views.

Using Puppy we are less motivated to look into it? But can be fun to
check up on what others are up to? Is it a good thing?
I use Google Search on Puppy Forum
not an ideal solution though

I think it evil and treasonous. An act of giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Give them a military tribunal and if guilty, take these people out back and shoot them.

Also, did you use the word Crowd when you meant Cloud?

"did you use the word Crowd when you meant Cloud?"

I might have made some mistake somewhere. Not unlikley but not consciously.

Cloud = may refer to the internet as such and all its resources
but often it means the part of internet that a particular company
make use of for it's customers to log in and upload (sync) what they
have on the local computer or smartphone.

Crowd used as in crowd-source or crowd-funded or crowd-supported
usually refers to that one ask people on internet to share their know how
and knowledge and economical resources to be a source or fund for to
accomplish together what can be too demanding for a few individuals.

So the use of crowd here in the title looks very proper to me :)
It may be grammar not correct maybe should be Crowd-sourced
or Crowd-funded to be formally correct.
