wbar - lightweight dock Subject description: A lightweight dock similar to Cairo-Dock or Avant, but lightweight |
|
Here's wbar, the best dock on the planet.
It has only one dependency, imlib2, which should be on most modern Puppies but I attached it just in case.
These packages were built on dpup and they're optimized for size. The wbar package also ships with tweaked defaults and a different background, taken from Cairo-Dock.
The DEV packages are development files in case you want to compile something extra yourself, the DOC package is documentation and the NLS package is support for extra languages.
Have fun!

I've been using wbar 1.3.3 for years - which does not include the lovely new GUI built into wbar these days (which I only noticed recently ) - great that this version does have that GUI, much easier to setup!

@telltom
On my machine the chromium command is /usr/lib/chrome-linux/chrome
(Well actually, I launch chromium with this command: "/usr/lib/chrome-linux/chrome --user-data-dir=/mnt/home/Slacko/chromium")
@<anyone>
Hmmm...... I may have to give wbar a try.

Hi EvilEd.

Simply by editing the configuration file of wbar - should be usually in /root.
But you should launch the corresponding programs, too.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
