 [b]Installed Compiz through PPM with necessary dependancies.Now compiz itself isn't configurable and it doesn't let me configure window-border-settings.
Typing CCSM in the run-box won't work. is it cureable? any help! 
Uninstalling compiz makes everything normal. why's that?

I use saluki 0.2.2 ccsm returns nuthin'.

Сompiz important to having the right video drivers. If the drivers are in place, all the functions are available to you сompiz. Saluki perfectly controlled compiz.
