slock - lock screen - wrapper script
slock - lock screen - wrapper script
I've written a script to act as a wrapper for slock,
a small program that locks your screen until you type
your root password 'woofwoof' and hit ENTER.
The real benefit beside the small size is that I have localized
the script (using Zigbert's method). Xlock is quite difficult to
localize.
The wrapper script explains the procedure and allows changing
your password. Beware. Remember the password!!
People actually like a completely black screen since it
will fool most people that the computer is not turned on.
It also works if you are the user 'spot'
It launches from start menu (under 'Desktop')
Make an icon on your desktop if you wish.
The execute path is /usr/bin/slock-wrapper
