ShowFoto in Legacy OS 2010
ShowFoto permet de retravailler la couleur, le contraste, et beaucoup plus. Il est complet.
ShowFoto allows us changing colors, contrast, and further much more. I think It is a good tool to add to the others.
Have a nice Sunday; Pelo

I see the problem, you want to use a small tool to do the job - this is the Puppy way ; -)
A couple of suggestions
*Use gnewpet - it can grab pets from an installation
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=75437
*Contact John Biles directly and see if he can provide a suitable pet

Looks like it's a part of digikam:

(actually, really looks good, might give it a try, too)

Yes, showfoto is the picviewer inside digikam. So you would need some KDE-stuff to run it. I installed the whole KDE bunch, just to make sure there are no missing deps, and installed digikam, and it works. Digikam is the first and only software I found so far that lets me browse pictures in different subfolders recursively, without opening each folder again and again. XnViewMP has a function that allows this, too, but on a very unstable level, making it crash every time I use this function. So, a well invested few hundred megabytes I am on Slacko64 now, don't know if KDE works that good with other versions.
Gthumb and other apps of the graphic category
Hi,
Having a large collection of photographs, i found Gthumb very useful to browse it. Easy to use. Best in class, i think, to browse a vast collection of photographs, and a very easy way to tag and comment.
I also like Gwenview and Showfoto, and, for serious work on Raw, Digikam. I wait for the 4.0 version, due in April of 2014. Jumping from 3.5 to 4.0, it should be vastly improved.
But Fotoxx is the best in class for a user of Puppy, having everything a photographer may need to improve shots. I use it everyday.
You can find it in Exprimo, as part of its ISO, and in some PPM. The latest version 14.2.2 is needing GTK3, and, in my opinion, it tries too much to be fancy, as opposed to earlier versions. But Kornelix is focused on giving photographers and Linux a very good tool.
I just lament the fact it is not part of each and every Puppy ISO, since it is light and very useful.

Gwenview
Hi,
Here is a link to Gwenview : http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=86913
In fact, the link is to KDE 4.10.1 SFS. The KDE desktop is fully fonctional with Upup Raring and Precise 5.7.1, and with it, it is possible to use Gwenview, an app that is very useful, especially in combination with kipi plugins. Gwenview can convert Raw files into jpegs with lots of controls. Good for photographers.

CHDK
Hi,
Here is the link to CHDK : http://lifehacker.com/5942229/unlock-th ... -with-chdk
And User Manual : http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_User_Manual
CHDK. What is it? A not well-known free program to convert Canon point-and-shoot camera into a pro camera. It is quite simple. I tried it years ago when i had a Canon point-and-shoot, and features were quite limited back then. Now, tons of features are available, in form of scripts. You just make use of the camera OS and a SD card. Canon is voluntarily limiting the huge potential offered by any point-and-shoot camera, and the program is freeing this potential.
This is of interest for any Canon point-and-shoot camera owner. Not all point-and-shoot can be modified this way. Check the list of models to see if your camera is listed.
Finally, you can switch easily between CHDK menu and the Canon menu, so you don't leave behind what make a point-and-shoot enjoyable. But "pro" features are always available.

fotoxx 15.11.1
