LazY MAID 1.0.3 - Murga-Linux Attachment-Index Downloader

#1 Post by RSH »

HI.

LazY MAID 1.0.3!

The LazY Puppy (from) Murga-Linux Attachment-Index Downloader - works surely in other puppies as well.

LazY MAID is now a very useful tool to search for and to download attached files from murga forum. Select a Start Index and a End Index and click on 'Build Index File' (English Users will have English GUI). Then select a file from the list and click on 'Download File'.

Note: please, remove previous installed version before installing 1.0.3.

New in 1.0.3:

It updates the murga-linux-attachment list automatically at start. You can search now the complete list offline for files and download them from a search results gui.

It is a lot more comfortable to search inside the automatically updated local list than to search online using the first tab (of application) and index numbers.

Now you can search the local list for lazy (f.e) and it will find and offer lazy, LAZY, lAzY, laZYpup LazYYPoOp or what else combination is used.

I think, it is now the ultimate tool, to search the murga forum for its attachments - AND to find everything, which has been attached and was not going lost.

And sometimes it will give a surprise to you, like it has done to me - a few days ago, as i found this one:

LazY Puppy RunScript Builder and LazY Puppy Firefox7.sfs running in Slacko

I've never seen the thread wherein this one has been posted. Only found and seen it because of using LazY-MAID 1.0.3. 8)

Search offline Index Tab - NEW in 1.0.3

Sorted Lists Tab

Directories Tab - NEW in 1.0.0

LazY-MAID 1.0.3 is now available as PET and SFS!

I have been told that in non-computer related situations....but I always try to practice and get slower.

Running it in Slacko 5.3.3 now....tried a small selection and it works fine. Now I made the mistake of starting at the lowest possible value. Were you aware that there was a jpg file made when Eve first bit into the apple? Some day it will finish downloading,

Thanks

Yes, if you are trying to create a full index of the murga forum files, you should have more to do than to drink some coffee. I have already downloaded the full index and it does take more than 12 hours!

How is this?

RSH

Full index list is already in the pet. Note the new information in the GUI.

Would it be possible to specify the data file location. I try to keep as much as possible out of the save file area. I made an sfs file of the first version...worked like a charm.

I guess I could move the datafile out of the save file area and put in a relative link.

Really nice idea.....thanks for developing it.

For all those who wonder if they prefer to download now or better to wait a little longer:

Download now.

1.0.1 will be the last version published on this weekend.

Have Fun using LazY MAID, LazY FRed and LazY ReCo (its little 1€ Download-Help-Jobber) - hope you'll find a lot of interesting stuff.

Any suggestions, any repositories to add, or anything i can not imagine this time?

Let me know!

Have a nice weekend...

RSH:

Your links to Lazy Maid are dead. Is Lazy Maid now incorporated into Lazy Fred or is this some error?

Best regards,

Slavvo67

Thanks for this Info.

It seems these two files are victims of the reduced attachment-size of the forum, which is now 256KB. So they are just too big and won't download anymore.

i have a LP2_LazY-MAID-1.0.3.sfs at smokey01.com/RSH/, but don't remind the differences.

If it won't work in a usual Puppy, let me know - though, I think it should work.

Btw: I found, I have already version 1.0.4 locally existing - maybe there will be a updated version soon...
