Have you tried using the pre-compiled linux version yet?
It runs on Akita, but I confess I've got no idea what it's for...

i saw some binarys but not sure what one might work. i usually find non native puppy binarys to be missing a lot of libs and deps.
the app decodes data transmitted over the radio - usually amateur stuff but also military and business stuff. if you tune about on shortwave radio and find a odd rushing or squeaky noise, this program decodes it into text or data.

I don't have Lucid, but running on Wary or Precise, the only missing libs are libgtkglext and libgdkglext. Both are in the same package. Try:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/i386/l ... 1/download
The linux download from the Sigmara website doesn't need to be installed. Just unzip it and click on the binary the /bin/ directory.
