This PC has no harddisk. I did a Frugal Install of Lucid Puppy 5.2.8 in a USB stick of 4 GB. The stick has 2 partitions. All the Puppy files are in sda1 partition. The savefile alone is in sda2 partition.
I would like to move the savefile from sda2 to sda1 partition of USB stick.
In ROX file manager, I see /mnt/home pointing to sda2.
How should I change the savefile location?.
How to move savefile from one partition to another? (Solved)

Try this. Boot up and when you get the initial splash screen quickly hit the F2 button and you should get a help screen. Type:-
puppy pfix=ram
and press Enter. Puppy should boot into RAM only without loading the save-file (so it can be moved without problems). Click on the icons of the 2 partitions sda1 and sda2 so you mount them both and have 2 ROX windows open. Drag and drop the save-file across from sda2 to sda1 and select "move". Close the windows, unmount the partitions and then reboot. When the dialog comes up offering to create a save-file just click "do not save" as you do not want to create another save-file.
