When I first installed Puppy linux 5.3.3, one of the firs things I checked was that I could see Youtube videos. It would be one of my main reasons for moving from OpenSuse as I have been unable to get it to work.
I could watch Youtube videos in Seamonkey. I have since installed Firefox, although it doesn't say Firefox, it says Nightly 12.0. Now when I go to Youtube I get a black rectangle. So I tried Seamonkey and now I get a black rectangle with Seamonkey.
Any ideas on where to start sorting this out. As an aside is it my imagination or is it really difficult to search this forum?

Firefox nightly versions are beta versions of Firefox released nightly for testing. Expect them to be buggy.
The latest stable version of Firefox is 15.0.1

Youtube probably does want a newer version of Flash Player. That requirement changes all the time.

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
