I missed this comment earlier. You can use /dev/shm too, which most distros including puppy set up as a tmpfs for programs to quickly share data with each other. Just remember to remove temps when finished so you don't prevent other programs using it due to lack of space.SFR wrote:Using Pizzasgood's idea I've applied ramdisk as a storage for temp file.

Dynamic ramdisk has been set to max. 1 MB, but I think it's more than enough.
