I don't know about Norway but in Sweden some say that the Linux version are only for full member while the Wine version still accepts free users but that could change soon enough. I have not tested lately. Too lazy
I use Google Search on Puppy Forum
not an ideal solution though

I know nothing about spotify, or what it does, but if you're running a lupu versiom of puppy, the portable linux version starts up, (asking for username & password), after being made executable:

Spotify client seems to be a qt application - you can download the .deb here:
http://repository.spotify.com/pool/non-free/s/spotify/
And try it with Pemasus qt4.sfs here:
http://www.smokey01.com/pemasu/Sfs/qt4-4.8.0.sfs

If it doesn't work try typing in the terminal:
ldd /usr/bin/spotify
to see if it has any missing dependencies.

thanks for all the help. i will try this when i get home.

im running luci 525 and the lh64bit right now. will Pemasus qt4.sfs work on lh64? or will fatdogs qt4-4.6.1.pet work in lh64 and support the file? Im thinking this way since its a older version.

thanks for the support.

and btw to muggins, spotify is a online music streaming program :) i have stopped buying music CD`s after i found this program

I use the portable version of Spotify available here:

http://portablelinuxapps.org/Spotify%20 ... 3/download

I am a 'free' user, and do not have a subscription.

All I did was find a suitable icon and link it to the file to run.

sorry - I know this does not help the request, but if you like spotify, you may also like grooveshark.com

I liked spotify a lot, now I prefer grooveshark ..
