I've got an HP Compaq d530 SFF which is running Precise Puppy 5.4.1. I know that some 32bit operating systems can only use 3GB of ram but I can max out this machine with 4GB and intend to. Will Puppy be able to use the 4GB?

It sounds a bit crazy I know but I like to get the most out of old systems which sometimes means pushing the limits.

Thanks in advance.

Puppies with the PAE kernel can use all 4 gigs of your RAM. Precise 5.41 uses this kernel, so, yes, you can use all of your memory.
