How to use wifi in Lucid 528? (Solved)
I have done a frugal installation, but I can not get my WiFi to work on Linux puppy lucid 528. When I go to the network wizard it doesn't even recognize a wireless interface. It just recognizes Ethernet. I have a Compaq cq57 with an AMD C-50 processor, 2GB of ddr3 ram, windows 7 64 bit. The WiFi works in windows, and Ubuntu. The interface is RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n.
I recently acquired a Toshiba Satellite L655 laptop,
it comes with the Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless Lan 802.11n PCI-E .NIC
.PuppyLinux 528 does not recognize the adapter.I have tried most
of the drivers that are suggested in this and other treads and I have failed miserably.Please help me with this one.
