What I would like to see.... |
|
I´m writing this on Puppy 1.0.3, which is fast, stable and does everything I could possibly want, except successfully save my sessions back to the CD. I´ve been able to install Firefox, Java, Flash, and Thunderbird, but in spite of combing the forum and following all suggestions, I still see an error message when saving to CD. It´s my fervent hope that version 1.0.4 will allow the successful saving of sessions back to CD.
This is the first ¨live - CD¨ distro of Linux that shows such promise. If saving to CD were indeed always possible, I would use it often, and it might even become widely used> Go Puppy!!!

What I woild like to see.
Any one who has seen my posts here already knows. A full hard drive install option.
Not the current one that requires a floppy to access the OS.
One on the order of Mepis or Knoppix or Linspire. Something that is very simple but gets the job done.

Puppy 1.0.3 does have a full hard drive install option not needing a floppy.
