That and when will there be a version of Puppy that can be installed easily to the hard drive without having to use a floppy.Guest wrote:Any idea, when version 1.0.4 will be released ?
I Love Puppy Linux Have been playing with it for several days and think it is a very nice small distro. I would love to use it on a very old PC I have but the PC will not boot from the CDrom it is not a option in the bios.
I figure I can get a distro on the drive just the same but Puppy Linux does not install to the hard drive like a regular distro does and that bothers me.
I can think of a very good use for Puppy in my business. I recondition and give away old PC as one of the things my business does. And Puppy Linux is the best small Distro I have ever seen. I would very much like to use it as the distro I put on the reconditioned PCs, but the lack of a regular install option prevents this.
Do we know when there will be a regular install option available?
