External monitor for Samsung NB30 Netbook Subject description: Setting New Window Default Display Size
Samsung NB30 Netbook
Puppy Linux dpup Exprimo 5x15.
Chipset: Intel NM10
Graphics: Intel GMA3150 (max. resolution 1400x1050)
Maximum NB30 integrated display resolution:1024 x 600 @ 60
External Monitor: ViewSonic VA2212M-LED
What works: NB30 displays opening splash screen full display on the ViewSonic.
What's broken: Seamonkey, E-mail & Browser, both open in little more than 1/4 of the screen on the ViewSonic.
Work around: I can manually corner-drag open every new window to full screen.
What tried: I experimented with multiple resolution settings, of those that functioned at all, none solved the Seamonkey default windows sizing problem.
I looked for a default full-screen setting for windows in Seamonkey and did not find one.
Could something in Puppy be causing this or is it Seamonkey-specific?
