Subject description: upgrade it from 7.6

Hello I want to know whether this is a good idea or not. What I want to know is which Xorg 7.6 libraries that are also available for Xorg 7.7 should I compile? What other components should I compile?

I am willing to compile it if this is a good idea. I think the upgrade would be a good idea.
