You finally got a good usable Linux formatted partition. sda6
Well done!

However, you do notice you have 29GB of unallocated space, in the extended partition sda3, that can still be made into usable logical partition(s)?

Yes I would use Grub4dos.
The menu->System-> Grub4dos Bootloader Config is what to run to load Grub4dos.
If you just choose the default option settings it should work OK. (There is help info in program)
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.

Full install steps:

Boot using the Slacko USB.

1. Setup hard drive with a Linux partition. You have.
2. Run the Puppy universal installer.
select the option install to internal IDE/ SATA hard drive.
3. Choose partition sda6 for install location.
Choose full install option.
4. Follow the instructions on the next few pages.
5. Once you have finished and received the message that you successfully installed the system on your desired medium you should now
install a boot loader.
6. Run Grub4Dos Bootloader Config.
7. When Grub4dos is completed install is complete.
8. Reboot computer not using the Slacko USB.

Should boot to a boot menu with entries as to what operating system to run. Windows or Puppy.
Select Slacko entry.
(First entry will boot if you make no choice)
