How to run Password Gorilla under tclkit

Any chance of explaining how you use tclkit to do this? would verymuch like to get to know. Thanks. D |

OK, I don't remember where I found it. The last several installs that I've done, I've just manually dragged it along. My "instructions" just says: "Put "tclkit" in /usr/local/bin for password gorilla" I stuck the script file in my-applications folder, which has this inside: "tclkit ~/my-applications/gorilla" (oh, I obviously renamed gorilla.kit to just gorilla)

OK, a new/recent version of tclkit can be found here: http://code.google.com/p/tclkit/wiki/TclkitDownloads You will want the version (I just tested it under 5.28 and it works): Linux ix86 You will need to "gzip -d tclkit-8.5.8-linux-ix86.gz" And there is no reason that it need be left with that name. You can rename it to just tclkit. OK, I just noticed that my gorilla is newer than the one from "http://www.tcl.tk/starkits/" (2004 versus 2009) I'll attach the one I'm running, and maybe someone can point us to the newest version (I can't find it on the gorilla site) BTW, I just tried the latest release (gorilla15363.bin - though not tclkit driven), and I think that I like it better than the previous....

I think the gorilla bins, that I linked above, are Starpacks, containing their own internal tclkit environment. Whereas Starkits, like the examples here, need you to install tclkit to /usr/bin, make it executable, then set the Run Action, for the .kit files, to tclkit. |
