then I had to uncheck the box in Lupu to not use
the HW clock. Then I did a time sync and then
I rebooted to check if FatDog 64 was set up as
Kirk and JamesBond recommended and it was
and then I shut it down three times and then went
to bed and now in the morning it still show the right time
so I set it as solved. The important thing for us with
Daylight Saving is to set it to the local time zone.
In my case Europe Stockholm so it take care of such?
thanks to Sylvander for pointing that out to me.
old text
I did a search and found many threads so it is not me alone
but I am the one that fail to get it.
When I try out another puppy and then reboot into the one
I use most of the time then they are not agreeing on what time it is.
sh-4.1# cat /etc/clock
#Set this to either 'utc' or 'localtime' based on which one your computer's
#hardware clock uses.
HWCLOCKTIME=utcsh-4.1#
That means that my hardware clock uses UTC
and that is not what is recommended I guess?
One should use local time instead.
cat /etc/clock does not work in fatDog so maybe their clock is
in some other place?
Maybe this text explain what happens

Fatdog always uses localtime for the BIOS clock.
Other puppies offer possibilities to use either localtime or UTC time
in the BIOS clock. To make sure the time stays the same between
Lupu and Fatdog, choose "localtime" in Lupu.
This is a design decision - Windows-based machines uses localtime
for BIOS clock, so Fatdog uses localtime too to ensure that switching
to/from Windows will not accidentally change the time. Of course, by
using localtime in BIOS clock, we lose that automatic daylight savings
time, but that is an advantage because automatic DST settings
doesn't always work
