MOC Player creates a large database in /root/.moc/cache
I don't know what the database is for and I can't find a way to turn it off or make it smaller. If I delete the database then MOC just recreates it again on next run.
I tried to make /root/.moc/cache as a symlink to /tmp/cache but MOC doesn't like that and crashes on start up.
Can I create a symlink that goes to a folder in /tmp ?
hi xan
have you tried symlinking it elsewhere, such as onto a folder on your harddrive?

Did you actually create /tmp/cache? You may need to create it every time you boot using a startup script.
How large is the database? Is there enough space in /tmp for it?
