Windows and Puppy hand-in-hand to rip a DVD Subject description: for a task that took years to accomplish @ all
Hello I found that puppy can rip unencrypted DVDs and I had encrypted DVDs. I used windows for DVD decryption. I booted to Lucid and mounted the ISO containing the unencrypted movie and used pdvdrsab to rip the movie from the ISO to .vob (it was very quick). Then I used FFConvert to convert to a decent format successfully. The resulting video file was 728MB (way better than 5GB+). Windows and Puppy got along just fine. This story does seem a bit jumbled a bit though. _________________ ...
