Pfeme Subject description: A front-end for multiple emulators |
|
Pfeme is a front-end for multiple emulators. In other words it's a generic front-end supporting multiple profiles with just enough useful features.
If you use gngeo, gnuboy, mupen64 or vba-m (amongst others) then you'll find this useful.
Written using Gtkdialog, shell script and a tiny but very fast snippet of perl.
It's also been committed to the Gtkdialog repository as a documented example application.
Requirements
Gtkdialog >= 0.8.3 - http://code.google.com/p/gtkdialog/
You may have 0.8.3 from SVN but if you don't have at least r486 then it won't function properly -- the latest is r502.
Pfeme
Source code package: http://code.google.com/p/gtkdialog/downloads/list
Pet Package
- Download the source package, extract it and change into the directory.
- Type "make DESTDIR=pfeme-0.x.x install"
- Type "dir2pet pfeme-0.x.x" and keep pressing Enter until the "GUI window" appears and then press the "Generate..." button.
- Click on pfeme-0.x.x.pet to install.

Finished it now
If you download the gtkdialog-0.8.3 source package then you'll find pfeme in there too; I released that today as well.

Super Duper Awesome!! Subject description: You rule!! |

Does it generate a new config profile for each game using the same emulator but with different plugin combos, for instance, PCSX with FFIV special game fixes and then Speed Freaks with swap front/back detection?
Thanks.
