working with puppybrowser (solved - at least for me) |
|
hey all!
I'm working with puppybrowser 1.1. i'm opening up a server page that needs no controls so i'm using flashviewer.
My problem is that it opens as a minimized window on the left side of the screen. I need it to open up using the entire screen. I tried fullscreen profile but can't get out of full screen when i'm done - don't know the escape route.
So my 2 main questions are (1) how do I specify the window size of flashviewer at open and (2) how do I get out of full screen profile?
I know these are probably questions asked and answered long ago. However, I cannot find the solution searching. Searching here and using Google always brings me to the ultratiny htmlviwer page (http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=39498)
Any advise is appreciated.
Thanks
E

Usually, the F11 key toggles fullscreen setting.

Thanks amigo - that will certainly help...i feel so noob lol
[update] f11 only brings me the status bar and the address bar - no way to exit without toggling back through status bar.
What I really want/need is to open flashviwer at maximized. Any ideas?
thanks!

Hi,
in fullscreen-mode, move the mouse to the bottom of the screen, now the bottom symbol-bar should become visible. It contains the icon to leave fullscreen.
Cheers, Mark

To set the size:
| Code: | | /usr/local/PuppyBrowser/puppy-browser -x=0 -y=0 -w=1920 -h=1080 -profile=flashviewer pro-linux.de |
all options are listed here:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=303882#303882
Does this fix your issue?
Mark

Solved (for me) |

Thanks Mu!
That is exactly what I was looking for! I can now complete my project successfully!
Just want all you guys to know that I (as I am sure there are others) have little or no means of expressing how grateful we are for the patience and assistance those of you "in-the-know" give us. Until you are better paid....Thank You.
