Atmission Impossible (possibly ...)

#1 Post by Lobster »

On this Puppy wikipedia page (one of the first things I started for Puppy)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puppy_linux

- hey whilst there how about adding some details . . .

anyways . . .
this along with Morphix is mentioned as using a multisession disk . . .
http://www.atconsultancy.nl/atmission/

However atmission does not seem to do so? Am I missing something, if so is it anything of use?

If I understand what this page says, the ATmission live CD stores changes in a file on the hard drive or on a USB stick, much like standard Puppy's pup001 file. It does not save to the CD. Nowhere is mentioned using a CD-R or -RW, or a CD drive that can write, although it is implied that one must be used to burn the live CD from the downloaded iso file.

Thanks for checking it out - just as I thought . . .

Even if shown an entry in an encyclopedia, disproving his pet theory, My dad would insist the encclopedia was wrong.

In this case he might be right.

Any volunteers to change the wikipedia entry?

:)
