I am trying to load puppy lupu-528.004. I am getting the following on my IBM 600e ThinkPad I am trying to use the item for opencpn. I am getting the following message. Question

SEARCHING FOR PUPPY FILES IN COMPUTER DISK DRIVES...
SEARCHING DEEPER SUB-SUB-FOLDERS IN PARTITIONS...LUPU_528.SFS NOT FOUNDDROPPING OUT TO INITIAL RAMDISK CONSOLE...
/BIN/SH: CAN'T ACCESS TTY; JOB CONTROL TURNED OFF

THERE IS NO OS ON THE LAPTOP

Hi hammerhead25; How are you booting the lappy if there`s no O.S. on it?
If it`s HD has no O.S., then a CD-DVD or a USB flash drive ( if the lappy will boot to it ).

This this happens with HD and USB booting depending on where you put the Puppy files.
But shouldn`t happen with CD-DVD.

I AM BOOTING FROM THE OPTICAL DRIVE WITH BURNT CD. TRYING TO GET IT TO BOOT AND INSTALL FROM THE CD.
