it drops out to the terminal mode |
|
Hi,
i try to describe how it happen.
I had problems with the "power-off" option in Lucid Puppy linux 258 full install, then i did need shutdown with the command "power-off" in a terminal, that's force to power off my computer. I did resolve it at unmount a partition before restart..
But i believe that is broken something, because when i press the right arrow key on an context menu( without selecting any item ) of a window thats drops out to the terminal mode. I am using jwm.
Thats did make me to lose some of my work. How to fix that?.
Thanks in advance.

Hello, estuardolh.
About your mouse click problem:
Check if the Control or Alt keys at the left of your keyboard are sticky? That might create a small short-circuit (so to speak) and the X server closes when you use a mouse click. If so, try to "wiggle" those keys to unjam them.
Best regards.

Joking:
Is the terminal mode so bad, besides being "terminal" ?
A lot can still be done in "terminal" mode, you know.
Seriously:
if you have problems with this particular puplet, try another one?
Just a thought.
