Hello, I'm testing this distro on an old Pentum 3500 Mhz, 192 MB of RAM and 15 GB hard disk. The problem is that, whatever you do, try to put prefixes and syntax, always get the same error. The funny thing is that if you just leave your CD alone without disc, the system finds the SFS but hangs at the part of "switch_root to the layered system" ... I do not know what else to try, I'm tired of trying and testing this distro without results. Worst of all, the CD that I recorded and the corresponding ISO work fully, even in my PC or VirtualBox without errors or surprises ... I do not know what else to try ... Any other Puppy distro (or Puppy-based) that recommend for that PC?

I don't know how to solve your problem, but I can at least tell other people what you're trying to say in a better way than an automatic translator:

Could you recommend any other Puppy (or Puppy-based) distro for this PC?

I think that the following recent link can help:

For an old CPU you should consider to use an older kernel than precise's. I suggest Wary:

Hi again. I tried the solution from the first post. The system boot, but throws "Kernel Panic - init Not tainted", and the lights on the keyboard blink continuously until I boot the system. What's wrong in this PC?watchdog wrote:I think that the following recent link can help:
