Not the official way but a quick hack (assuming Flash already installed) is just extracting libflashplayer.so from "http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/comple ... gz)_32-bit" -- Yes that's a real URL inside the quotes (so strip them off) but I cannot make it clickable due to what looks like a forum software bug). As of writing that link currently points to https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/f ... 386.tar.gz
and placing it in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ (replacing the original). This will update the plugin binary. A version check at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ will confirm the new version being used.
You can update the other files as well but that's the critical one. Make sure you shutdown browser/flash then replace file and restart browser. Then do adobe version check at link above. Hopefully about:addons should confirm as well.
This should do until someone makes a real pet. See the readme file in adobe download for more details. You could try the automated rpm install but I didn't. Other linux packaging (including rpm) should be offered at https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Why not just use GetFlash? (Some versions of Puppy even have it pre-installed - but in that case, you might need to update it.)
As long as Adobe doesn't do something like change the download URLs (again), GetFlash should have no problem finding and offering you the latest version. (In fact, I just tested it, and it found 11.2.202.262.)
