I use this one:

http://calibre-ebook.com/

It's available for Linux and Windows...just extract it out of the save file area.

Hi RHS

I use FBReader which works with other formats as well as epub. It might be more than you want. The pet I have installed is fbreader-0.12.8. I think it also needs liblinebreak-1.2 installed as well. I got them both from this forum. I don't have a link for them but I am sure you would find them with a search.
I am using them in lucid 528. Hope this helps.

I've never read an epub before, but possible alternatives, besides the above mentioned calibre & fbreader , are:

coolreader qt4-based
epubreader firefox plugin
lucidor firefox plugin

RSH which pup?

Like keniv I also got fbreader and had to do what he did, but got it working on wary5.0.
