Mad Penguin Puppy 2.02 Review
Puppy originally was not designed to run on older machines ... for a long time, Puppy could not boot on a machine with less than 128 megs.
I don't think it's really surprising that Puppy is pleasant and easy to use. The whole point of Puppy, as far as i know, is to be a fast and efficient OS that runs completely in ram, and is intended to be used every day as your primary operating system.
An emergency boot cd doesn't really need to be pleasant to use ... but an operating system that is being used all the time does need to be pleasant and easy to use.

wireles and conclusion
The review is a responsible one, meaning, it refrains from complaining about the OS' possible shotcomings but tries to find the solutions first.
Here are the quotables:
Here are the quotables:
After a few days with it, we simply cannot get over how friendly it is. For once, we have a distribution designed for older hardware that is actually utilizing new technology...
Another item that really "wows" us is the ability to run this distribution our way. Flash drives, CDs, or hard drive installation - it's all here... [also] thanks to a working wireless connection and a wide selection of software...
