kprinter to gtklp Subject description: printing with kprinter |
|
Hi,
I've noticed that some programs do not print because as probably use kprinter. mtpaint can switch to gtklp. Other programs, however, do not print. The problem is not the printer driver!
Is it possible to copy gtklp to kprinter and in the correct directory? What better way to bring all the programs to print that expect kprinter among puppy?
Greetings

Please provide details. What Puppy are you using? What program? Where did you get kprinter?

Is Lazy Puppy no longer available? I cannot answer your questions if I can't run it.
However, epdfview in other Puppies has printer support built-in, so I don't why it wouldn't print in Lazy. Try printing a PDF from the command line. Make sure that you have set the default printer in CUPS.
Does QCAD have a printer configuration somewhere similar to mtPaint? A bit of Googling finds this.

you can download Lazy + QCAD....sfs from: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4sunxh2fijgporx/gkZfsJWin9
The new opensource version QCAD 2.2.. i can not find to download
Your string for command line is a got idea because then i can use "gtklp xxx.pdf". This i can use in any way!
Greetings
