Authentication email for changing email address failed

HiDeHo told about his failure to get it when he
changed from an old email he not had access to
and wanted to change that to a current email address
he could use.

then the authentication email never arrived and
AFAIK there is not way to get to the Admin and Mods?

Can somebody explain what one can do to get access again.

Last time me had same problem I had to write to John Murga
personally using an email address I found on some blog he had.

naturally he could not know if I really are Nooby but as is obvious
for many years now I really am. None write as childish and naive
as I do. So it worked out for me.

but HiDeHo maybe don't have any such peculiar sign
to point to .I mean how does he give evidence that he
is the username he says he is.

So if anybody can give him good advice either tell it here
or join Raffy Forum and tell it in the thread there.

the best would be if one could tell the forum software here to resend
that email until it works? or that one where allowed to give an alternative
address in case the one one gave have some filter set up outside our control.

I am on yahoo now and luckily that one worked but suppose me change
to hotmail how can I be sure it really would work.

We have to solve this problem one way or another?
Or do you allow one join under other username until one find a
email provider that allow the authentication?

Example bugman was rather active many years ago
then he got silent and now we have a bugman-2.0
and that could mean it is same guy but him also failing
to get the authentication. Flash could compare IP number
to see if it comes from same ISP provider

HiDeHo read there he get your message. Thanks.

Edit. Almost 24 hours now so maybe it was very urgent for him
when he needed it and now that time window is not open so
him gave up on it? Okay it is Saturday so maybe Family going
on holiday and him back on linux on Monday night again.

So I let him decide on it. No reason for me to get worked up
about it.
